For five decades, Joe possesses deep expertise across the Financial Markets, primarily in Institutional Fixed Income Sales. His background also includes significant roles as a Lead Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Chairman of Assets/Liability Management, and Money Market Trading Desk Manager.
Joe is a member of the Board of Directors as well as Treasurer at Lake Quivira Country Club and is involved with Cross Lines Community Outreach.
He enjoys sailing, running, and outdoor activities in his free time.

Kevin rejoined the securities industry following several years of consulting and entrepreneurial work. He brings a well-rounded perspective to client service, investment strategy, and fixed income solutions. He originally entered the financial services industry over 15 years ago as a financial advisor before expanding his expertise through a variety of business development roles.
An Iowa native, Kevin holds a J.D. from Drake University Law School and a B.A. from Purdue University. He is committed to helping financial institutions navigate complex portfolio decisions, regulatory considerations, and balance sheet strategy with clarity and confidence.
Kevin holds the Series 7 & 66 licenses and specializes in serving banks and trust departments with tailored fixed income recommendations.

With over 10 years in investment banking and commercial real estate finance, Rob Crotty serves the investment banking and finance needs of for profit and nonprofit developers, helping them raise capital through private placements, for construction, bridge and permanent financing. He also arranges government agency insured financings for market rate and affordable multifamily housing, as well as skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, independent living and active adult facilities.
Rob earned his BA degree, cum laude, from Tulane University and his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jeremy began his career with the CSCM team in April of 2021, bringing over 10 years of business management experience with him. He has worked with companies both large and in the startup stage, specializing in developing and improving customer service experiences.
He and his wife Allison, have two young children. They love spending time at the Kansas City Zoo and playing tennis.

Bob started his career in 1979 in Des Moines specializing in municipal bonds and is still trading, underwriting and selling municipals. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Business degree in Finance and then got his M.B.A. from Drake University.
Bob and his wife, Jody, have three children and two grandchildren. He is an avid golfer in his free time.

With over 35 years in investment banking and government, Omar Ganoom is a highly experienced banker in our Public Finance Group and works primarily with states, counties, municipalities, institutions of higher education, healthcare providers, 501(c)(3) organizations, school districts, and utility municipal issuers in raising capital through debt financing.
Omar has been a State of Ohio Licensed School Treasurer and serves as Chairman/President on the board of the Ohio Municipal Advisory Council. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and has been awarded the U.S. Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge, which is the highest honor civilians/military can earn. Omar has been an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate level courses in public finance at The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and received a Master of Public Administration degree from The Ohio State University.

Terry has spent 30 years in the Securities Industry. He is Lead Underwriter for the CSCM Wichita office.

Terry has a Bachelor of Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from Wichita State University. He also has 20 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Terry is designated as General Principal for the Wichita office.

Connor began his career with CSCM in 2019. Since then, he has provided investment guidance to both institutional and retail clients – specializing in Taxable and Tax-Free Municipal Bonds, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Governments, Agencies and Corporates. Connor is passionate about working with local, community banking clients to strategically maximize the performance of their portfolio while mitigating risk. He enjoys being able to work one on one with clients to ensure that their specific investment goals are achieved.
Connor is a member of both the Kansas Bankers Association and the Missouri Bankers Association. He frequently attends outings and conferences throughout the year. Connor lives in Overland Park and works at the Prairie Village office. He is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and taking long walks with his wife and dog.

With a carrer spanning over decades in the Financial Industry, Mike Horton has built a distinguished career marked by significant leadership positions. He began as an Investment Representative for J.O. Davidson & Associates in 1982, later becoming VP. His extensive experience includes roles as Sr. VP at Gold Capital Management, Davidson Securities, Inc., Sr. VP and Branch Manager at M&I Brokerage Services, and Sr. VP at DeWaay Financial Network. In 2011, Mike joined CSCM as Partner and Branch Manager of the Wichita office.
Mike is a current board member and past president of the Air Capital Cosmopolitan Club, a member of Cosmopolitan International, a not-for-profit organization that raises money for diabetes. Mike served two terms as President of the Wichita Collegiate School Booster Club, raising money for all extra-curricular activities of the school.
Mike and his wife, Terri, have two children. He attended Wichita State University. He enjoys playing golf.

With over 30 years in the financial industry, Sandra, or Sandy as she's known, has a deep well of experience. ​Sandy is a General Securities Rep and a General Securities Principal. Her expertise lies in municipal and corporate securities, with extensive experience in marketing equities and mutual funds. She's passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Recognized for her achievements, Sandy was featured in the Wichita Business Journal's "40 under 40" as one of the area's up-and-coming young business professionals. She's an active volunteer, dedicating her time to her church, the United Way of the Plains, and her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, which honored her with the IIKE Award and the Donna Jabara Baker Award for her outstanding contributions. Sandy is also a proud member of the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization and the Wichita State University Alumni Association, and she's an avid Wichita State University Shocker fan!

Sandy and her husband, Mark, have been married for over 30 years and have two sons.

Wade has been a Portfolio Manager since 1987. He received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Kansas State University.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Finance and Business Communication from Arizona State University. He launched his career in 1999 with an internship at Midwest Capital Management and brings two decades of experience in the Fixed Income Securities industry. Ben specializes in serving both retail and institutional clients, with expertise spanning Taxable and Tax-Exempt Municipal Bonds, US Government and Agencies, Corporate and Mortgage-Backed Securities, and individual wealth management services including equity and specialty products.

An active participant in several Midwest Community Banking Organizations, Ben is also a leading fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa.

Jim brings 30 years of experience to CSCM. From 1987 to 1994, he was Assistant Vice President of Municipal Trading at UMB. From 1994 to 2006, he was Vice President of Municipal Trading at Commerce Bank.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Jim is the past president and current member of the Kansas City Municipal Bond Club.
He is a trained leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Jim has been married for 35 years, has two children and one grandchild.

Travis launched his career in the financial industry as a Fixed-Income Trader with CSCM. Driven to deepen his expertise, he's simultaneously working towards an MBA in Finance and Data Analytics, slated for completion in Fall 2026.

Operations

Dan brings over 50 years of investment expertise to CSCM. He is a past president of the Kansas City Municipal Bond Club and has been actively involved in committee work with the Kansas Bankers Association. He also served on the District 4 Committee for FINRA.
Dan began his investment career with Commerce Bank of Kansas City as a Trader/Underwriter in 1971. He moved to A.F. Stepp Investments Inc. in 1973 where he was involved in trading, underwriting and sales. In 1987, Dan was appointed Senior Vice President and Manager of the Investment Department of Security Bank of Kansas. He also managed the Bank's proprietary investment account. In 1996 Dan was co-founder of Midwest Capital Management which was later purchased by Gold Bank in 1998. Gold Bank merged with M&I Bank in 2006 and was subsequently purchased by DeWaay Financial Network in 2007. In January of 2011, he and the core group of Midwest Capital Management bought DeWaay to form Central States Capital Markets.
Dan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of the Public Institute of the University of Michigan. Dan is the proud father of four and has six grandchildren.

Robert (Bob) Young began his career with A.F. Stepp Investments, Inc., Kansas City, MO, in 1971, specializing in Bank Portfolio Management and Municipal Bond Sales. In 1980, he joined Bankers Trust Company, owned by the Ruan Family, Des Moines, IA. He initially served as Vice President and Director of Investments. In 1984, he chartered Ruan Securities Corporation where he served as Chairman of the Board and President. In 1994, Bob served as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Rain and Hail, and as President of their private Broker-Dealer subsidiary, Agri General Securities Corporation, until he retired in 2006. In September of 2006, Young came out of retirement to help establish another private broker-dealer serving as Chairman of the Institutional Fixed Income Division until December 2010. He joined Northland Securities in January 2011 as Managing Director and head of the Central Division and established branch offices in Des Moines and Denver. He joined Central States Capital Markets in 2017 as an equity Partner and serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Complinace Officer.

Bob attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) receiving his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1979. He has served on numerous school, foundation, and hospital boards. Bob has a passion for classic cars and has been a member and/or or board of director for various car clubs He and his wife, Diane, have four children and two grandchildren.
